Treatment Approach & Style
It can be overwhelming to begin the process of therapy. As your therapist I will engage you in becoming more comfortable with your inner self and learning where you get stuck historically which can cause interpersonal conflicts. Using a compassionate and collaborative approach we will develop a plan where you will learn to look in the mirror and not in the magnifying glass to improve your self image and relationships. You will also learn to set boundaries therefore reducing anger and increasing your self-esteem. My work is influenced my psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapy. I also integrate meditation and relaxation.
My therapeutic style is warm and engaging I am very direct and interactive but always listening to your feedback. Above all a safe environment is created to facilitate accomplishment of your goals.
